Lenovo, Apple Lead PC Segment in Q3, Chromebooks Bestsellers: Canalys

According to a market analysis report by research firm Canalys, Chromebooks and tablets saw a boom in the third quarter of 2020, while the desktop market saw a 32 percent drop. Its quarterly report on the PC market ecosystem shows that Chromebook was the best-performing product in the landscape in PCs as shipments grew 122 percent to 9.4 million. Detachable items such as tablets and notebooks also grew by 88 percent, and were allegedly the second best-performing products in the personal computing segment.
